Paepaetele is a retired Lieutenant Colonel currently serving as the Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the U.S. Army (CASA). Some of his achievements as an Installation Commander, assigned to American Samoa, include the establishment of the United States Army Reserves, Post Exchange (PX) and the Senior ROTC at the American Samoa Community College.
Most importantly, Paepaetele has been lobbying the support from military commanders regarding our Healthcare, Education, Economy, and Transportation issues.

Constituents commonly say, “if only you were a U.S. Congressman." Therefore I am answering their call to action by running for as the democratic candidate seeking election to the U.S. House of Representatives our territory of American Samoa.

US Congress dictates what is best for American Samoa.
Although our Territory is under the administration of the Department of Interior, U.S. Congress must saction political actions taken or requested by American Samoa. Restoring our working relationship with the U.S. military, we need a Congressman that has proven leadership and military expertise. We need a congressman that has military affiliation, experience and connection.
